I woke up this morning and instead of the revelation I was about to share, I realized that the first five words I wrote are all I needed to write.
I woke up this morning.
It’s so easy to wake up every morning and carry on as if that in itself is not a miracle. Your alarm clock didn’t wake you, your spouse nudging you did not wake you, your children jumping on your bed did not wake you up… the giver of the breath of life woke you up. Doubt me? Do all of those things in a morgue and see if an alarm or the voice of a child awakens.
Yesterday may have been tough, you may not have achieved all you set out to do, you may be on the verge of giving up, BUT… you still have breath in your nostrils and where there is life, there is hope.
Yesterday is in the rear view now. It doesn’t matter how bad it was, I want you to know that because you are still breathing, you can do well again. Lift up your voice and your heart to God, and see if He won’t begin to turn things around for you TODAY.
We woke up this morning.
Psalms 5:3 (NKJV): My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.”
It’s a brand new day, Dream again!
